Shows 2011-2012

In November, the 2011-2012 season starts at the Art League, with the “Showcasing the
Art League” Show. This show shouldn’t be missed as it showcases every class,
workshop, book, trip and all other activities offered this season. We will also have a meet
and greet on opening night with some of the workshop and class instructors.
This show will be followed by New Works, “You Be the Judge” in December. This
season’s artists have been busy at work this summer getting ready for their own shows.
During January, February and March we will have 14 of our own art league members
and instructors exhibiting their work in four group shows, along with 5 Florida artists. In
February, Tommy Simpson will have a one man show throughout the entire art league.
Tommy is an artist, woodworker, sculptor, furniture maker, painter and poet. His art has
been exhibited worldwide, he is the subject of many books, and his work is collected by
many museums. This is a wonderful, not to be missed, opportunity to get to know the art
of the very talented, and renowned, Tommy Simpson. The Associates Show, Nantucket
Basket Show, and Easter Show, will complete another exciting season at our Ocean Reef
Art League. We invite everyone to enjoy and be a part of the art league. Join us and Join
