We begin our day with a tour of the Everglades Outpost with a special demonstration by the amazing 18 year old Savi
Serrott, the youngest, and tiniest of Everglades Outpost’s alligator wrestlers and educators.
At Everglades Outpost in Homestead, Florida, volunteer and animal educator Savi Serrott spends her time with all kinds of animals. She works hands on with a
variety of species, one in particular not very common for eighteen-year-old-girls, alligators.
Serrott has worked with reptiles all her young life, and by taking part in the alligator shows at the outpost aims to spread awareness of the real-life dinosaurs. She
hopes to dismiss stigma towards the beasts as being scary and mean, and instead educate the public on how gators are in fact incredibly smart and majestic

The Tony Award winning Broadway musical Carousel is a powerful ride of hope and tears. With stunning
choreography and breathtaking music, Carousel was Rodgers and Hammerstein’s personal favorite of all their musicals, and was dubbed “the best musical of the
20th Century by Time Magazine. From the magical evocation of the carousel in the overture to the majestic and moving strains of the immortal song You’ll Never
Walk Alone, this giant of the musical stage remains timeless and star bright. The poignant and heartbreaking story of the faithful
Julie and her brutish husband Billy is one of the most powerful books in musical theatre history and perfectly matches its extraordinary score with the memorable
songs If I Loved You, June is Bustin’ Out All Over, and Billy Bigelow’s famous Soliloquy. Music by Richard Rodgers, Book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II,
Based on the play Liliom by
Ferenc Molnar as adapted by Benjamin F. Glazer
